Support for Dominika and her baby girl

Almost 3 years ago, Dominika came into our family's life when we moved to Warsaw and were looking for a nanny. From the start, she proved to be the best, most loving and helpful nanny you can imagine. Our kids simply adore her.
In December 2019, she went on maternity leave. Dominika and het partner Lukasz were about to embark on a new adventure: the birth of their first child. In January 2020 they welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Hanna. They were so happy and thoroughly enjoying life as a new family.
Then, last week, tragedy struck.
On September 28, 2020, Lukasz left for work, to never come back. On the Warsaw motorway, his motorcycle was hit by a truck. Soon after, he died in the hospital from the injuries he had sustained. He was only 36 years old.
In the blink of an eye, everything changed. From being blissfully happy, all of a sudden Dominika finds herself a single mother of a young baby.
Nothing can bring back Lukasz. The grief is beyond imagination. People close to her are powerless.
Because I desperately want to do something, I decided to set up this campaign. It is aimed towards helping Dominika and her daughter to - at least - make the financial part of staying behind a bit less difficult. With the money raised, she can take her time grieving, without the necessity to end her maternity leave and go to work straight away. It will allow her to spend time with her baby girl, who needs her mother more than ever now. Also, with the proceeds the costs of the funeral and housing will be taken care of.
