Support for Jennessa Dizon & Boys

On October 1, 2018,  Shem Dizon was killed in a tragic accident when a truck hit his motorcycle as he was riding home midday. 

He left behind his beloved wife (, Jennessa Harding Dizon and two sons, Josiah (8) and Jayden (3). (My younger sister and nephews.)

We are heartbroken for this tragic, unexpected loss in our family and for the lifelong pain that they will carry. 

Jennessa has lived abroad in the Philippines and Thailand for the last 12 years. She and Shem married 10 years ago,  the first American and tribal Philipino to marry. 

As a family, they traveled to Thailand for work in 2017 and enjoyed riding bikes and visiting the many beautiful parks. They laughed a lot and loved being together no matter where they were. The boys were Shem's joy and he was so proud of them and of their future.  He loved his family and his extended family in the Philippines dearly.

Jennessa and her sons need time to grieve the loss of their husband and father and have major expenses to cover to give Shem a memorial and his family in the Philippines a chance to say goodbye.

Jennessa and the boys will also be moving back to the states to be with us her family for now to heal and to recover. 

We would love for her to not worry about any expenses and be able to focus on resting and recovering and loving her little boys. 

We are raising money to allow them to travel as needed to lay Shem to rest, travel home to the US, and to support them while they recover as well as have a little for the boys' education in the future when she returns to work.

ALL donations go directly into a fund that I (Chantel Brankshire, Jennessa's sister) have created for Jennessa and the boys to use for current and future needs as they grieve.  The account is currently in my name as the bank will not allow us to create an account for her or put her name on the fund until she has been in the states for a while and has proof of residency.  However, she has the passwords and username and it will be available to her immediately upon her arrival via her personal paypal account and debit card.
