Support for Dimitreo's family

All, as I'm sure you are aware by now, Dimitreo, our WPH maintenance person has passed away from Covid. I spoke with Bill Price today about Dimitreo and apparently he leaves behind a wife and 2 children. So so sad.

We are starting this Go Fund Me to show support for his family and hopefully pass on a meaningful amount of financial support. I think all of benefitted from his quiet demeanor and willingness to help us on the docks whether it was in his job description or not.

As soon as we have Dimitreo's family bank account number we will set up a direct deposit.

Dimitrio worked at Waldo Point Harbor for 21 years. He took pleasure in helping residents and formed many long term friends during his time there. Dimitrio is survived by his wife Francisca and sons Victor and Bernardo in Petaluma.

 

A private memorial will be held this Thursday with a public mass in Spanish at 1 pm. The mass will be held at St. Vincents Church, 35 Liberty Street, Petaluma CA 94952 and is open to all who wish to attend.
