Early this morning, our family experienced an unimaginable tragedy—my cousin, Dawson Whisenant, was shot and killed. Dawson was the sweetest boy with such a big heart. He was brave, caring, and always put others before himself. His loss has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.

 My aunt is now facing the overwhelming task of planning a funeral and burial for her beloved son. The suddenness of this loss has brought not only deep grief but also unexpected financial challenges.
