Support for David Lee

David Lee has been a Habasit employee at the Suwanee facility for the past 15 years. On June of 2018 David went to the ER with increasing symptoms of headaches, dizziness, and a lack of balance. It came as a complete shock to everyone, including the ER doctors, that these symptoms were actually the result of a brain tumor called Glioblastoma. Glioblastoma is a rare but very aggressive brain cancer. David has had a total of four surgeries, 2 to remove as much of the tumor as possible and 2 due to staph infection from each surgery.

David spent a few weeks in intensive rehab working on improving his speech, vision, and walking, which were all impacted by the brain tumor.

After many neuro-oncology consultations, and procedures, David's symptoms continued to get worse and worse. As of now, David has been moved to home hospice care and is struggling to keep up with health care expenses.

David no longer has life insurance policy to pay for funeral expenses. In addition, he has depleted all his savings including his 401k for healthcare needs. David and his family would be very appreciative of donations to offset rising medical costs and hospice care. All money raised through this campaign will be given directly to David and his family.

David has always been a great person to work with, he is always smiling, has a great sense of humor, and is always willing to give a hug. David has always been a great father and grand-father by giving unconditional love day in and day out. Please help any way possible to finance his care while he continues to fight.
