Support for David and Dawn

David R. Gifford is one of the coolest men I have met in my adult life. He came into my life because he happened to fall in love with one of my favorite people, Dawn. David flew to Maryland to meet the "Goucher girls" and literally poured into our lives. We all fell in love with him and could immediately see why the two were smitten with eachother.
David, an orthopedic PA for Proliance Orthopedics in Tukwilla, WA was supposed to be resting because he was on call for the holiday. Dawn and the kids were watching movies when they heard a dramatic sound. When Dawn went to check on David, she found him seizing. David was admitted to the Neurological ICU and it was discovered on Thanksgiving that he had a glioma brain tumor about the size of a golf ball.
David will have frontal awake craniotomy with motor mapping/electrocortieography for resection of brain tumor (phew!) surgery on Tuesday. While we are all hoping for good news, we know no matter what this is going to be long road for this extended family.
David is the father of two gorgeous boys Jack (9) and Henry (6). Dawn is the mom of two incredibly beautiful beings Gabby (14) and Matthew (11).
The family will need help and support with meals, likely payment of bills and just a cushion so not to stress during this period of recovery and treatment. Any amount will help and bring peace of mind to this sweet family.
