Hello, Everyone! My name is Kelsie Ford and I have created this GoFundMe account in hopes of helping my sister and her partner Darren in their time of need.

What was meant to be a quick 2 day medical trip to Vancouver took a frightening turn when Darren suddenly lost all feeling from the chest down, leaving him partially paralyzed. He underwent emergency spinal surgery in hopes of saving his mobility.

Darren is now in recovery, but Doctors are unable to determine when he will regain full function - or when he and Meghan will be able to return home. He will require extensive rehabilitation and will need to relearn how to walk.

With Darren unable to work and Meghan taking leave to stay by his side, they are now facing unexpected financial hardship on top of an overwhelming emotional journey.

We are asking for any support to help with lost wages and living expenses during this difficult time.
