Our brother Danny has recently been diagnosed with ALS, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that slowly takes away the ability to move, speak, swallow, and eventually breathe. There is currently no cure.

Our family is doing everything we can to support him as the disease progresses. As the illness has advanced, he has lost his ability to work, and his care needs have continued to grow. We want to make sure he has everything he needs to remain safe, comfortable, and supported at home.

He now requires specialized medical equipment, daily care assistance, and important home modifications to ensure his home is accessible to his needs.

As a family, we chose to create a GoFundMe to help alleviate some of his financial burden and to be able to focus our time on being with this amazing man – a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, friend and neighbor.
