Funds raised through this GoFundMe will go toward new insurance deductibles, disability issues with his current workplace, and on top of the many unexpected medical and comfort expenses that have come with this diagnosis. 
 
My dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. The cancer has already spread to other parts of his body, and doctors have also found an area that is inoperable, limiting treatment options and making this fight even more complex. 

In what feels like a moment, everything changed. Simple things like eating and drinking have become daily challenges, and he is now relying on a feeding tube to get the nutrition his body needs. The strength it takes to face this every day is something most people never have to imagine, yet here he is, showing up and fighting through it. 
 
As a family, we are doing everything we can to support him, but the reality is that this journey comes with overwhelming emotional and financial strain. Medical treatments, travel, time away from work, and daily care needs are quickly adding up. 
 
Right now, our focus is on making sure he is as comfortable as possible and surrounded by the people who love him most. We want to create opportunities for family and friends to spend meaningful time with him, without the constant weight of financial stress hanging over us.
