Support for Dad Battling Cancer

Hi, my name is Misaki. My father was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Currently he is undergoing treatment but still is working because he is unable to get the financial assistance he needs to take some time off.

He is the type of dad that took me on late night walks when I had anxiety as a child no matter how late. During college he picked me up every night after show rehearsals, so I don’t have to commute home alone. He was always there for each of us when we needed support no matter what. As an essential worker during the pandemic, he was up every morning at 5:30am to give to his community with a smile on his face even in the uncertainty. He does this even now in his battle. He is in touch with his inner child and still loves Disneyland and even right now wishes he could go for the holidays.

As his daughter, I would like to help give back to him for all the times he has been there for me and my family. Any type of support would be much appreciated. The money will go towards treatments and cover any expenses so that he can take some time off from work on treatment weeks and rest in hopes of recovery. If he miraculously gets cured, as a videographer, he has a dream to travel the world and enjoy food from different cultures and document his journey. He will of course visit Disney too. We hope that no matter what, he will be able to enjoy whatever time he has left and any support given here will go towards his journey.
