On September 4th, Chris, devoted husband to Aubrie and loving father to Kalista, Renae, and two-year-old Oliver, was struck by a car and suffered multiple serious injuries. After an 11-hour trauma surgery to repair his shattered femur, pelvis, and upper arm, Chris is now in stable condition, but his recovery will be long and challenging. As the sole provider for his family, his sudden hospitalization has left Aubrie and the children facing a difficult road ahead.

 Aubrie is a dedicated stay-at-home mom, and with Chris unable to work, the family has lost their only source of income. The girls have just started a new school year, and Oliver, still a toddler, needs extra care. The family lives an hour and a half from the hospital, and since Aubrie doesn’t drive, she must pay for transportation to visit Chris and manage the household. Everyday expenses like rent, food, child care, and school needs are now urgent concerns.
