<div>I am helping my friend Mukisa Scott raise funds for his organizaiton  The Generous Hand Initiative, a community-based organization working alongside residents of Sanda Village, Wakiso District, Uganda, to address deeply rooted barriers to opportunity.  In this underserved rural community, children—especially girls—are forced out of school due to poverty, with many getting into early marriage or informal labor. At the same time, families rely on a single unsafe water source shared with animals, exposing them to preventable diseases and limiting their ability to thrive.

<div>With this support, we aim to catalyze sustainable, community-driven change by establishing a clean water source, improving sanitation, and creating a community hub for vocational training and learning. Through practical skills development in areas such as tailoring, hairdressing, and small-scale production, we are equipping women and youth to generate income and build resilience. By investing in local leadership and fostering self-sufficiency, this initiative is designed not just to meet immediate needs, but to unlock long-term transformation led by the community itself.
