Chevy Burkhardt, a beloved family friend, is facing an unimaginable challenge after a tragic accident in her backyard. While her father, Russell, was working on his truck in the front yard, Chevy threw gasoline into a fire pit, causing a sudden explosion. The fire engulfed Chevy, resulting in severe fourth-degree burns, and she had to be life-flighted to the hospital for urgent care. In a desperate attempt to save his daughter, Russell used his own hands to put out the flames, suffering burns himself. Now, both Chevy and Russell are in the hospital, and Russell will be unable to work until they are both healed.

This fundraiser is to support the Burkhardt family during this incredibly difficult time. The money raised will go directly toward covering mounting medical bills, daily living expenses, and food for the family while Russell is out of work. Your support will help ease their financial burden so they can focus on healing and recovery.
