Carlo is a bright and loving 6-year-old who recently lost his father, Luis Carlos, with whom he loved spending time. They enjoyed going to the beach together, jumping in the waves, playing soccer and pickleball, as well as playing with his train set. When his dad would pick him up from school, Carlo's smile said it all!

This sudden loss has left Carlo and his mom, Ceci, facing an incredibly difficult time. Ceci and Luis Carlos have been married for 13 years and had recently moved to the area. With no family or friends nearby, Ceci is now caring for Carlo on her own, facing this tragedy without a local support network. To make an already difficult situation even more challenging, Ceci's job situation is uncertain. As Carlo's sole provider now, she is deeply worried about how to meet her boy's needs while managing the overwhelming responsibilities that come with such a tragedy.

The funds raised will help cover the funeral costs and the repatriation of Luis Carlos' body to Mexico, allowing the family to honor his memory in their home country. In addition, support will go toward living expenses, legal fees, and therapy for Carlo, who is struggling with deep sadness despite his naturally happy and outgoing personality. Carlo is such a sweet boy, curious, chatty, and playful. He particularly loves trains and Legos, and his gentle spirit is a source of hope for Ceci as they navigate this dark period together.

Families at Carlo's school are stepping in to provide whatever support they can, from organizing playdates to providing meals and writing cards. Your financial support will help Carlo and Ceci navigate this challenging time, providing them with the stability and security they need to begin healing. Every contribution will make a real difference in their lives, helping them face the future with hope and strength. Thank you so much for any help you are able to give.
