Support for Brad Wargo’s Family

Donation protected
Life can turn on a dime – for any of us.  On Tuesday, January 5th, Brad Wargo, a healthy, strong husband and father, was rushed by ambulance to the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics after experiencing severe abdominal pain.  Over the next 11 days in the hospital, Brad was in and out of the ICU and endured multiple treatments for the numerous blood clots that developed.  On Thursday, January 14th, doctors thought he was doing better and could go home on Friday.  On Friday, January 15th, Brad passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the hospital.  Just like that, Barb Wargo lost her husband and Hunter & Jonathan lost their father.

I‘ve known Barb & Brad since our boys were in Kindergarten.  Not only are they two of the most dedicated parents I have known, but they both have an incredible work ethic which they have passed on to their sons.  For almost 20 years Brad has worked at Lynch’s Plumbing, Barb has been a teacher at Hoover Elementary School and now both of their sons are serving our country.  Hunter graduated from the Naval Academy last spring and Jonathan is in his first year of college at the Merchant Marine Academy.   Brad was an incredibly engaged father and there is nothing on this earth that made him more proud than Hunter & Jonathan.

These are times of hardship and uncertainty and it’s our duty to help one another when we can.  Your donations will help to pay for significant unexpected hospital costs as well as funeral expenses.  This is an incredible burden for any family, so I ask you to please consider helping.  Your contributions will help a devoted school teacher with two sons who have dedicated their futures to serving our country.

There was nothing Brad loved more than his family and he left behind three amazing people – Barb, Hunter & Jonathan.  They deserve for us to lift some of the heaviness that life has so suddenly put on them.   Let’s help them so they can focus on the difficult process of grieving and healing from this incredible loss.

Thank you for your generosity.
