My stepfather, Michael Dickerson, passed away peacefully at home today, leaving our family heartbroken and facing unexpected challenges. My mom, Beverly Chambers, and my sister, Anne Dickerson, are now navigating this loss together. Anne is only 21 and has now lost both of her parents, which has been a total shock for all of us. As we grieve, we are also trying to manage the financial burden that comes with funeral arrangements and the everyday bills that continue to arrive.
