Support for Barbara Smith

Please consider helping my mom move here where she will have a strong support system.  As many of you know, my mother is an amputee and bound to a wheelchair. Due to that and her poor health she is unable to live fully independent. My Grandfather and my Mom would share expenses and she was his caregiver. After his passing she has been struggling with finding a place to live and having the support she needs.  My Mom’s current living situation in Washington State has contributed to a decline in her health.  She really needs to move here to Henderson, Nevada to be near me and my family for support. My Mom also has friends in the area that can be a source of help.  She must be physically in Nevada to start applying for the assistance that she will need.  This means that my Mom will be staying in a hotel until she finds a new place to live.  A hotel is her only option because she is unable to get into the bathrooms or showers at our home, or her friend's homes. We really need some help to make this transition.

Our daughter Joslin is my Mom’s only granddaughter and she is constantly asking to have her Grandma move down here near us. We hope you can help make this happen.
