<div>Ben Hopson III passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, in his hometown of Anaktuvuk Pass.
</div>

<div>B3 was partner to Rainey and aapa to their girls Taktuk and Kanaaq. He was also a son, nephew, brother, brother-in-law, cousin, and cherished friend. A skilled hunter and trapper, he knew the Brooks Range in a way that very few can claim. His fellow Nunamiut and North Slope family will miss his big smile and generous heart.

<div>The family is bringing relatives together to lay B3 to rest and will need to navigate what's next. We'd like to help ease their financial situation and provide support during this difficult time.
