<div>With a heavy heart, we share with you the devastating news of the passing of our beloved mother. This has been the hardest blow in our lives, especially for my brother, my daughter, and me. We are going through a time of deep sorrow and shock, trying to face the loss of the most important person in our lives.
</div>

</div>
<div>The last 3 months have been of heavy family struggles due to our mom's health conditions, being in and out of the hospital and E.R. several times, the last time being from October 30th, 2024, through November 1st, 2024, where she received 2 emergency blood transfusions because her hemoglobin levels were at anemic levels. She was discharged because she was “better and good to go home” as per her doctors' and specialists' indications.

<div>She fought like a champion and waited 3 years for a liver transplant, and on November 6th, we received a call from the hospital confirming her turn for the organ transplant. Even though she was nervous about the surgery, her surgeon and nurses told her she was in good hands.

<div>We informed the surgeon and nurses about her recent hospitalization at the same hospital in the recent days, but they assured us she was in good condition for the surgery, so we trusted them with our mom.
</div>

<div>We waited for her to come back into her new life with her new liver, but the worst nightmare of our lives started when we got a call from the surgeon's assistant telling us that the surgeon wanted to talk with us. He came later on just to inform us that the surgery didn’t work as planned and her current condition wasn’t “survivable.”

<div><strong>Unfortunately, this unexpected departure has left us with expenses that are difficult for us to cover at this time.</strong> That is why, with much sadness and humility, we reach out to all of our family, friends, neighbors, and any possible donor for their help. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be deeply appreciated. Above all, we ask for your prayers. <strong>The funds raised will help to cover funeral expenses, medical bills, and ease the burden of other unexpected costs during this painful time for our family.</strong>

<div>She was a loving mother, a wonderful grandmother, a devoted daughter, an unconditional sister, a great aunt, and a special friend to many. We would like to honor her memory in the way she deserves.

<div>Con el corazón en la mano, compartimos con ustedes la desgarradora noticia del fallecimiento de nuestra amada madre. Ha sido el golpe más duro de nuestras vidas, especialmente para mi hermano, mi hija y para mí. Estamos pasando por un momento de profunda tristeza y tratando de asimilar la pérdida de la persona más importante para nosotros.

<div>Estos últimos 3 meses han sido de intensas luchas familiares debido a la salud de mi mamá. Estuvo entrando y saliendo del hospital y de emergencias varias veces, la última vez fue del 30 de octubre al 1 de noviembre de 2024, cuando recibió dos transfusiones de sangre de emergencia porque sus niveles de hemoglobina estaban muy bajos en niveles anémicos. Fue dada de alta porque, según sus doctores, estaba “mejor y lista para regresar a casa.”

<div>Luchó como una verdadera campeona y esperó 3 años por un trasplante de hígado. El 6 de noviembre, recibimos la llamada del hospital confirmando que había llegado su turno para el trasplante. Aunque estaba nerviosa, su cirujano y las enfermeras le aseguraron que estaba en buenas manos.

<div>Informamos al cirujano y al equipo médico sobre su reciente hospitalización, pero nos aseguraron que estaba en buenas condiciones para la cirugía, así que confiamos en ellos.
</div>

</div>
<div>Esperábamos verla regresar a casa, comenzar su nueva vida con su nuevo hígado. Pero nuestra pesadilla comenzó cuando recibimos una llamada de la asistente del cirujano, informándonos que el médico quería hablar con nosotros. Llegó más tarde solo para decirnos que la cirugía no había salido como esperaban y que su condición no era “viable.”

<div>Lamentablemente, su partida repentina nos ha dejado con gastos que nos resulta difícil cubrir en este momento. Por eso, con mucha humildad y tristeza, nos dirigimos a nuestra familia, amigos, vecinos y a cualquier persona que pueda ayudarnos. Cualquier contribución, por pequeña que sea, será profundamente apreciada. Sobre todo, les pedimos sus oraciones. Los fondos recaudados nos ayudarán a cubrir los gastos del funeral, las facturas médicas y aliviarán la carga de otros costos inesperados durante este doloroso momento.

<div>Mi mamá fue una madre amorosa, una abuela maravillosa, una hija devota, una hermana incondicional, una gran tía y una amiga especial para muchos. Nos gustaría honrar su memoria como se merece.
