Support for Amy & Kevin

Donation protected
Many of you will have heard that Amy McConneghy Witman (who taught art for many years at Eden Central Schools) has undergone a dramatic procedure to remove her pancreas after cancer was detected. Amy's husband Kevin (a phys ed teacher in Eden) is with her in Baltimore while she recovers from the grueling operation.
Members of the Eden school community have created this fund simply to assist Amy and Kevin with their travel expenses.
Having a loved one undergo comprehensive treatment for cancer is one of the most challenging experiences a family can face.
When it has to happen so far away from the supportive WNY community that embraces Amy and Kevin it takes on a new and added dimension.
Please donate what you can.
(And we already know that Kevin can't stand the idea of asking for anyone's assistance. But guess what, Kevin: we don't care about your opinion right now.)
Get well soon, Amy.
As Kevin has noted repeatedly in his Facebook & Caring Bridge updates: You are a true warrior.
