Ammie Mowe is not only my friend but also my co-worker, and she’s someone who has always faced life’s challenges with strength and faith. This year has been especially tough for Ammie. It began with a heart attack, which led to a series of medical tests and, ultimately, a diagnosis that none of us expected: breast cancer. The news has brought a lot of uncertainty and fear, but if you know Ammie, you know she’s determined to face this head-on, one step at a time. 
 
 
 Right now, Ammie is preparing for the fight of her life. The road ahead will involve treatments, doctor visits, and a lot of courage. As she focuses on healing, the financial burden of medical bills and daily expenses is a heavy weight to carry. That’s why we’re reaching out to our community for support—so Ammie can concentrate on her recovery without the added stress of finances. 
 
 
 Ammie wanted to share her own words: “Well… 2026 really said ‘let’s build some character,’ didn’t it? Most of you know this year already started off rough for me with the heart attack. What I didn’t expect was that it would open the door to a whole lot of testing and ‘let’s just check one more thing’ moments. Fast forward to this morning—I got my answer. It’s breast cancer. (I’m thinking they waited till the 2nd of April for a reason.) Yeah… not exactly the plot twist I was going for. I’m not going to sugarcoat it—this is scary. There’s a lot I still don’t know yet, and I’ve definitely had some moments already. But if you know me, you know I’m not one to just sit down and let life run me over. My faith is strong, and I truly believe God’s got me—even on the days I feel a little shaken. So here’s where I’m at: I’m going to fight, I’m going to handle it, and I’m going to take it one step at a time. If you pray, I’d really appreciate you adding me to your list—for strength, peace, and healing. And if nothing else… just know I’m still me. I love y’all and appreciate the support more than you know.”
