Our dear friend Amar Das (45 Years old) who hailed from Odisha, India residing at Eagan, MN unfortunately departed for his heavenly abode on October 30th morning after fighting bravely with cancer for over 4 years.
Amar is survived by wife Gita, 6-year-old son Arvid and 13-year-old daughter Aleena. Amar was very socializing, clean at heart and never shy of helping others. There wasn't a slightest shade of negativity in his life. He was adored by his family, friends and colleagues at work.
Amar is known to be a loving father, husband, brother and a good friend. He was an avid cook and engaged his circle with interesting culinary conversations. He was so delightfully engaging, he never fell short of talking points. He was also a strong believer of God. He has left behind a trail of life, touching people who came in contact with him for his positive vibes and an ever smiling face.
Amar's diagnosis of stage-4 lung cancer shattered the dreams of his young family. Over the last years, his close friends and family witnessed his strong willingness to live for his children. He fought courageously and many times taking things into his own hands doing lot of research on his own treatment; he once said, if I survive cancer, I will be an oncologist.
At this moment of extreme sadness, let us do our best to help the family at their time of bereavement.
This fundraiser campaign has been initiated by Amar's friends and the beneficiary is Amar’s wife – Gita Das. 100% of all funds raised will go to his bereaved wife and children. This will be utilized for Amar’s medical expenses, funeral cost and children’s education.
