My sister was diagnosed with ALS on April 11th, 2022. Once an active person who loved hiking, riding horses, and caring for her family, she now faces daily challenges as her mobility deteriorates. She is a devoted mother of four, with two children still living at home, and her condition has transformed her body into a prison, confining her to a chair for most of the day.
Living in a multi-level home, the only roll-in shower is located in the basement, making it difficult for her to maintain her independence. We are raising funds to build a wheelchair ramp and install a stair lift, which will allow her to navigate her home more easily and regain some of her lost freedom. Additionally, funds will support in-home assistance and therapies that are crucial for her well-being.
Your support will not only help improve her quality of life but also provide her with the hope and strength to continue fighting this battle. We are deeply grateful for any contribution you can make and kindly ask you to share this fundraiser with others who might be willing to help.
We understand all cannot donate; if you cannot, please keep her close in your prayers. We will continue to pray for all others impacted by ALS, terminal illnesses, hard times or dark tunnels. We believe God is OH SO GOOD, even in the storms.
