<div>On Saturday, August 23, Allison and her son were attacked by an unknown person as they were leaving their home to celebrate the birthday of one of her other children. Allison's fiancé and three other children were not home at the time.

<div>Allison has been treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released from the hospital; her unborn child was unharmed. As of now (August 23 at 5:30 pm), her son is admitted to the hospital and awaiting surgery for a skull fracture.

<div><strong>The goal of our fundraiser is to assist Allison and her family with the costs of her son's surgery and recovery, as well as help cover lost wages for the family as they take time off work to care for their son during his recovery and prepare for the arrival of their new baby.</strong>

<div>Allison is one of the kindest, most generous, and caring people anyone could know. She is a sweet soul, amazing mother, and loving friend. As her friends, we are devastated that this could happen to anyone as good as her, let alone an innocent child.
