<div>For the last twe years, severe flooding of the Envira River caused serious inundations in the Katukina/Kaxinawá Indigenous Land, directly affecting Aldeia Xinã Bena, located in Feijó, in the state of Acre.

<div>Families lost food supplies, crops, utensils, and part of their homes. Children, elders, and the entire community are now facing difficulties in rebuilding their houses and securing the basic necessities to live with dignity.

<div>In addition, the flooding has compromised the community’s means of transportation. Access to the city to obtain food, medical care, and reconstruction materials depends exclusively on river transport.
