Support for AJ & Olivia McNeilly

My name is Megan and I have created this page as so many people have offered to help. My mother, Julie McNeilly, has been raising her two grandchildren, AJ (age 11) and Olivia (age 5), for the last three years.

On December 20, 2021 Julie was hospitalized with COVID pneumonia. Just when we thought she was improving and ready to come home, her situation turned and she passed away on January 1, 2022.

Julie’s adoption of the kids was final on December 27, 2021. AJ and Olivia were her whole world and she was determined to give them the best life, as their early years were difficult ones. She fought the foster care system tooth and nail to ensure their permanency.

My mom left the children to me, a 28 year old without children of my own. It is now my life goal to give them everything my mom was going to.

So many people have asked if they can help financially. We have yet to uncover what my mom left behind for us, but she was a planner so I am sure she made sure they would be taken care of.

Any money raised will be used for the children’s care.
