Ada, my friend's daughter, recently developed some concerning symptoms that led her family to rush her to the ER. After a series of tests, doctors discovered a mass and swelling in Ada’s brain stem. The news was devastating—her condition is not operable, and the family is now faced with heartbreaking decisions about her care. They can pursue radiation to give Ada a little more time, or bring her home to keep her comfortable. Throughout all of this, Ada’s dad wants nothing more than to stay by her side, but taking time off work is a financial challenge they cannot afford.

 The funds raised through this campaign will help Ada’s family cover essential needs like food, support Ada’s dad as he takes time off work, and provide for any other necessities that arise during this difficult time. By easing some of their financial worries, we hope to give Ada’s family the space to focus on what matters most—being together and caring for Ada.
