Hello Friends and Family! Most everyone has heard about the devastation on St. John and the other Islands in the Caribbean. My brother Aaron and his wife Kim live on St. John. While they are physically safe, their world has been turned upside down! It has been said that the Island of St. John will not have electricity again until February. While there has been aid and help sent to the Island, all non essential personal have pulled out because another category 4-5 hurricane is about to hit the Islands
Aaron and Kim have evacuated from St. John to Puerto Rico, hoping to get to the mainland soon. Because of Hurricane Maria, they will have to stay in Puerto Rico a little longer.
Pretty much everything on St. John, their home, has been destroyed. Which means that they do not have jobs to return to. They have had to leave their home, with their two doggies, uncertain of what the next move will be. They had to leave everything behind on St. John. All of their possessions, their cars, their keepsakes, everything but a couple of duffle bags of clothes. Not knowing if any of that will survive this next hurricane. And if it does, when will they even be able to get back to their home, or retrieve what's still there. This isn't stuff that's going to be fixed in a couple of weeks! Or months. They are going to have to completely rebuild their lives!
They both are staying so positive through all of this. I can't even imagine how hard this must be for them and all of the others affected!
We've had many people ask what they could do to help. I don't even know where to begin to answer that question because so much is uncertain. But I feel like I need to do something, anything to make this whole thing, not so hard on them. So I've set up this fund, for anyone that would like to support their rebuilding! They could also use prayers, positive energy sent to them for patience and strength. What ever positivity you'd like to send their way, they'd gladly accept!
