My mom's husband passed away in December. In March, I came back to Kentucky from Washington to try help her find some stability. She is disabled; there are no housing programs here that can help her, and she cannot afford anything on her own. I brought her into my nonbiological dad's home temporarily.
He despises us being here. More specifically he dislikes my mom.
I went back to Washington in July and signed up for my own housing. I have a housing situation setup now, but I need to move my mom, myself, and a cat across the country, pay for the deposit, and buy everything from scratch.
My goal was to save through September and I'd have enough. However, reality doesn't agree. I don't have this long. We need to go as soon as we can.
The expenses I need most urgent help with are a $500 deposit, two plane tickets around $180 each, one cat plane ticket for $99, two beds and two bedframes totaling $400.
I deeply dislike asking for money. My life is my responsibility -- and to be honest, we will survive this regardless. Please only help if you have the means, but any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
