<div>She just had surgery to remove two masses on her thyroid. During surgery, the doctor found cancer. He had to remove her thyroid and her lymph nodes, which was not planned. The cancer has wrapped around her nerve, so it couldn't be removed. She will be receiving further treatment for the cancer and is stage 2.
