<div>In November 2023, my dad suffered an aortic dissection which required major emergency surgery, followed by multiple post-operative strokes. He was out of work for months during recovery. We are incredibly fortunate that he made it through as the survival rate for an aortic dissection is extremely low, however, the financial strain from that alone has been overwhelming. My parents have spent the last couple of years trying to recover emotionally and financially.

<div>Now, we’ve just learned that he has a brain tumor and will need another major surgery within the next two weeks, followed by 3+ months out of work during recovery.
