Our friend’s 10-year-old son, Asher, was struck by two cars in a devastating accident, leaving him in critical condition in the ICU. The impact caused severe injuries: his leg was nearly amputated, but thankfully surgery revealed no damage to arteries or blood vessels, just a broken bone and a significant loss of flesh. He lost a large amount of blood and suffered multiple skull fractures, which have caused his brain to swell dangerously. To help him recover, doctors have kept him heavily sedated and inserted a device to manage spinal fluid flow. Despite these efforts, his swelling worsened, and fluid began leaking from his head due to the pressure. His recovery will be long and uncertain, and his family is facing every parent’s worst nightmare as they stay by his side, hoping and praying for healing.

 The family is enduring unimaginable stress and hardship. His mom has had to leave work to care for him, and the mounting medical bills, travel costs, and daily expenses are overwhelming.
