Support Follow Black Women Conference 2019

Safe spaces for black women are critical and rare. Black women need safe spaces to be free from racism and spaces where black women can gather to unpack and release the burdens of living in an oppressive society. We need spaces where we can speak our unfiltered truth and be our unapologetic selves. Black women need spaces for sisterhood, healing and nourishment. Black women need spaces where we can celebrate our Black Girl Magic. We need spaces where we can talk about the complexities and challenges of being black and woman. We need spaces where we can love on each other and be loved.

That space is the Follow Black Women Conference

Catriceology Enterprises, LLC will host the 2nd Annual Follow Black Women Racial Justice Conference in 2019. Conferences like this are rare and revolutionary.

This is a grassroots endeavor and with this being the second year for the conference we are in need of community support. We are in need of YOUR support. If you believe that black women need and deserve safe healing spaces such as this conference please support this fundraiser.

Please contribute to this campaign to support funding for the 2019 Follow Black Women Conference on October 19, 2019 in St. Paul Minnesota. This year's theme is Rising From the Ashes and Finding Joy in the Journey!

This conference is for women leaders, entrepreneurs, career women, business owners, and social and racial justice activists. This one-day conference for women will showcase brilliant black women leaders, teachers, activists and healers doing powerful, transformative work in the world to rigorously advocate for truth, justice, freedom, equity and liberation for black and brown people. Specifically, this conference will focus on highlighting the brilliance, resilience and vision for black women leading the way to racial justice reconciliation and restoration.

Topics and sessions will emphasize the following topics: personal anti-racism work, dismantling white supremacy systemically, anti-blackness racism, disparities among black women, effective activist/ally actions and healing and restoration for black women.

The conference will feature 5 phenomenal black women speakers: Layla Saad, Rachel Cargle, Sandy Brodus and Fawntice Finesse. Layla will be traveling into the USA from Qatar.
