<div>On July 5th, my 21-year-old son, Jonathan Bowman, was among the first group of firefighters through the door on a routine call — when a sudden backdraft triggered an explosion. He suffered a serious open fracture to his dominant arm and underwent emergency surgery that night. He’ll now be out of work for several months.
