We are raising mutual aid for Connor, who was fired from Salt City Coffee as the Head Roaster, after spending two years with the company and having an excellent track record. Workers believe that Connor was fired in retaliation for his union activity, as one of the workers who initiated the union campaign.

We are filing a charge with the National Labor Relations Board. Unfortunately, this process can take months to be resolved, and in the meantime, we are raising funds so that Connor and his family can pay bills, buy groceries, and afford rent. Here is a distribution of those needs for a three month period:

Groceries = $600 (x 3)

Pet care = $170 (x 3)

Gas = $240 (x 3)

Rent = $1,200 (x 3)

Utilities = $150 (x 3)

Any donation that you can make would be appreciated! We all must support each other in the Syracuse community and broader labor movement. An injury to one is an injury to all. Solidarity!
