Here is my update for today: Go Fund me has frozen withdrawals from this campaign. There is no way to contact them directly the only advice they give is to answer some questions in this listing. 1) most of you know me. I'm brianna Smull- Maier, old friend from High School of Felicia. 2) I will be withdrawing the funds and pay Felicia's rent for her. She doesn't want too much money in her accounts. So she asked me to make the payment to her landlord. 3) I have spoken to her landlord and she knows I will be paying the rent.
I am reaching out to you and asking for help for Felicia Riley.
Many of you know the story of Felicia's childrens' murders. Ten years ago Felicia and her husband were going through a terrible divorce. During his weekend visitation, he shot their three Childrens- ages 4,6 and 8. Then he called Felicia and begged her to reconcile with him and come to the house. She refused to answer the phone and proceeded with her night. The next day, when she went to pick them up. No one answered the door. Upon her brother-in-law searching the house, all 4 of them lay dead on the bed in the master bedroom. You can search her name in Pennsylvania and read the news paper account.
I'm sorry to be so detailed, but I really want to explain how much Felicia has been through.
Since that time, Felicia has done everything she can to recover. It has been difficult. She has developed a laundry list of health issues that have caused her doctors to stop her from working. She has blood issues, chronic night terrors and insomnia, chronic anxiety. Seizures, the list is long. Again I am only telling you this so you understand.
You also need to know that Felicia father and brother died years ago. Her brother and sister have done and continue to do all they can. Both have kiddos to take care off. And her mother died earlier this year. She is virtually alone.
Felicia lives with a boyfriend who she has since broken up with. She is unable to leave his home as she has no where to go. Now she plans to move to California to live with her step dad in Corona. He is happy to have her. However, something terrible has happened.
A few months ago, she caused a car accident by driving her car asleep. She was on ambien. She was arrested. And today she was in court and received her sentence. She has been given 1 year house arrest. This is much better than jail time. This is the best the public defender could get her. We had hoped that she would be able to have her house arrest transferred to California. That is not likely.
So here is the ask. I desperately need to help her get into safe housing. She has food stamps and she is working on social security help and she has her medicare. But she has no resources. She is unable to work. She needs help to get through a year of house arrest. I would like to raise 12,000 to pay her rent ( a small safe studio apartment) her cell phone so we can keep connected to the world, her gas and electric for a for the year. She is losing her license so the car will be parked for a year.
I love this lady. She is in an unsafe place with no options. I have to help any way I can. Please help, if you can.
