 Every day, New York City’s Bravest leave their families behind to protect and serve others, never knowing what challenges they may face. Today, we’re asking you to stand with one of our own.

<div>
 Our brother, FDNY Firefighter Santiago Ruiz, recently suffered a brain aneurysm after completing a tour of duty in the Bronx. His condition required immediate medical attention and emergency surgery.

<div>
 Santiago and his family now face a long road to recovery.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Santiago is not only a dedicated firefighter but also a loving father, caring son and friend. As he begins his long journey toward recovery, Santiago and his family are facing the emotional and financial challenges that come with such a life-changing event.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Our goal is simple: to ease the financial burden on Santiago and his family so they can focus on what matters most — his health, recovery, and being together.

</div>

<div>

</div>

<div>
 The FDNY is more than a job; it’s a family. We stand beside one another through the good times and, more importantly, through the difficult ones.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 We’re asking our fellow firefighters, friends, families, and community to come together and support Santiago and his loved ones. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help with household bills, everyday expenses, and the costs associated with his recovery.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Santiago has answered the call for others. Now it’s our turn to answer the call for him.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Please consider donating, sharing, and keeping Santiago and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

</div>

 No brother fights alone.

</div>

</div>

<div>
 With heartfelt gratitude,
