Dear San José de las Matas community,

I write to you today with a heavy heart to speak about my older brother, Fausto Román. Fausto is a father, husband, brother, and son—a pillar in our community who has always been there to help others. However, he is currently facing a tough battle against pulmonary fibrosis, a disease that has progressed to affect 75% of his lungs and has been worsened by pneumonia.

His situation is critical, and to provide him with the treatment he needs, we require the help of everyone. We have set a goal to raise $50,000 to cover his medical expenses. We believe that together we can achieve this.

Fausto is not just a beloved family member; he is someone who has given so much to our community. We ask for your support during this difficult time. Any contribution, big or small, will be invaluable and will bring us closer to our goal.
