Support Families Recovering from Severe Flooding

Dear friends,

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of a family I love dearly who are going through an unimaginable crisis. Their homes were devastated by severe flooding, leaving behind destruction, loss, and heartbreak. What were once a safe havens are now waterlogged, with cherished belongings, furniture, and the basics of everyday life either ruined or completely swept away. There are 4 homes (all family) on the same street that have been impacted. Some by inches and some by feet of water in their homes.

They are safe, thankfully—but the road to recovery is overwhelming. Because this was the second flood to hit their area in the last two months contractors are going to be very busy. They have no idea how long they will be out of their homes while getting things torn out and repaired. Some of them have insurance and some do not because this was quite frankly not imaginable.

They need our help. If you are in a position to give, any amount—no matter how small—will go directly toward helping them rebuild their lives: replacing essential items, securing temporary housing, and starting the long process of restoration.
