 El miércoles 22 de julio, Fabian sufrió un grave accidente durante un incendio en la vivienda donde se encontraba. Lamentablemente, sufrió quemaduras en gran parte de sus extremidades y también perdió todas sus pertenencias.

 En este momento se encuentra hospitalizado en el área de quemados de Stony Brook Hospital, recibiendo atención médica y comenzando un proceso de recuperación que sabemos que no será fácil.

 Como familia, estamos haciendo todo lo posible por estar a su lado y ayudarlo a salir adelante. Por eso acudimos a nuestros amigos, familiares y a todas las personas que quieran poner un granito de arena.  Hi, my name is Claudio Moncayo, and I’m starting this fundraiser to ask for help for my brother, Fabian Moncayo Benavides.

 On Wednesday, July 22, Fabian was seriously injured in a fire at the home where he was staying. Sadly, he suffered burns to much of his extremities and also lost all of his belongings.

 He is currently hospitalized in the burn unit at Stony Brook Hospital, receiving medical care and beginning what we know will be a difficult road to recovery.

 As a family, we are doing everything we can to be there for him and help him get through this. We’re reaching out to our friends, family, and anyone who would like to lend a helping hand. Any donation, big or small, will help with his medical expenses and the many needs that may come up during his recovery.
