<div>The Florida Evergladess, despite it's burning sun is a place of darkness for the many dogs and cats who are dumped there on a weekly basis. Whether deserted by their "owners" or born in the Everglades as strays, these animals are left to fend for themselves in a very inhospitable environment. They must try to survive amongst alligators, tick infestations causing anemia and tick-borne diseases, raging, hot sun, pythons , vehicles, and possibly the most dangerous of all, ill-spirited humans who hurt, poison and abuse these animals.
