Hi, my name is Sonita King, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my mom, Evelyn King, who is originally from Bequia. She is blind and living with dementia, and her care needs have grown beyond what I can manage on my own.

I work full time while also raising my two sons. As much as we love my mom and want her close, the daily challenges have become overwhelming—physically, emotionally, and financially. My children are still young and need me, but my mom also needs around-the-clock support and safety.

I've come to the difficult but necessary decision that the best place for her is an assisted living community where she can receive the care, compassion, and attention she deserves. Unfortunately, the cost of assisted living is far more than I can afford on my own.

This is why I am turning to the kindness of friends, family, and even strangers. Every donation will go directly toward my mom’s assisted living expenses, helping me ensure she has a safe, supportive, and loving environment.
