My name is Ihsan and this GoFundMe is to raise money for niece, Eva. This is her dad's message to everyone :

Initially, Eva regularly complaint of fatigue and she seemed paler than usual. We sent her to the health clinic for a blood checkup. The initial results confirmed that Eva’s hemoglobin levels were very low (HB – 2.7), and she was rushed to Melaka General Hospital, Malaysia where she was warded for 2 weeks. A lot of tests were done because Eva’s hemoglobin levels dropped drastically. Eventually, the pediatrician requested to do a bone marrow test.

Eva was diagnosed of Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia on February 27th, 2025. She was transferred to UKM Specialist Children’s Hospital the next day for further treatment.

Eva's treatment plan is 5 cycles of chemotherapy and intensive care at the hospital, spanning a total over 39 weeks + maintenance cycles of 2 years. She is currently undergoing treatment and is in the fourth cycle of chemotherapy. While she is stable, her low blood count and antibody (effects from the chemotherapy) is causing her to get frequent fever. Her mood is also fluctuating as an effect of the chemotherapy. Although her body is small, she has an iron will. She's holding on with a smile even though she is going through unimaginable pain.

As much as we are holding on as a family, it is high time for me to reach out for help. The burden of a high treatment cost, together with our daily expenses of specific needs are slowly catching up. Eva's treatment is estimated to cost over $20,000. Every contribution counts in giving Eva a chance to fight and heal completely, God Willing. Thank you for giving Eva and our family hope!
