<div>On Friday, September 5th, Evan and her 5-year-old son, Clay, were involved in a tragic car accident. In spite of being in his car seat, Clay suffered critical injuries, including cardiac arrest at the scene, significant brain damage, and severe spinal cord trauma. Despite the tireless efforts of medical teams and a week on a ventilator, Clay tragically passed away on Friday, September 12th.

<div>Evan, also injured in the accident, sustained a fractured femur and now faces a long road to recovery. This tragedy also comes on the heels of another heartbreak: the loss of both her parents to COVID-19 in 2021, leaving her without their support during this incredibly difficult time.
