<div>On Saturday 12th July, while playing for Barnsley Woolley Miners Cricket Club 2nd XI at Shaw Lane, our much loved teammate and friend Ethan Shillito suffered a horrific ankle dislocation and break while fielding the ball in what can only be described as a freak accident.

<div>The severity of the injury means Ethan will be off work for several months. He now faces a long road of surgery, rest, and rehabilitation something no young dad should have to navigate alone.

<div>Ethan is a hard-working family man, devoted to his partner Ash and their beautiful 2-year-old daughter Payton. As the primary earner, this sudden and serious injury will place a real financial strain on them during a time when all energy should be focused on healing and staying strong as a family.
