Erin is a devoted mother to Malcolm, Karlee, Mckenna, and Kammy. She has multiple sclerosis, which limits her mobility and makes it impossible for her to work. Her husband Maurice was the family's provider, an excellent father, and an amazing husband. He passed away unexpectedly this morning, leaving Erin and her children heartbroken and in shock. Maurice was not only a great brother-in-law, but also a loving parent to his grown children, and his loss is felt deeply by everyone who knew him.

 The family is facing an uncertain future. Malcolm, just 12 years old, found his father, and the children are struggling to process this tragedy. Erin is overwhelmed and grieving, unable to imagine how she will raise her children alone. Maurice carried the family’s health insurance, and now Erin will struggle to afford her MS treatments and medical care without coverage. These treatments are vital for her well-being, and the family is worried about how to keep Erin healthy during such a challenging time. The insurance policy Maurice left behind is very small, and the family needs help to cover basic needs like food, counseling, daily expenses, and ongoing medical treatments for Erin's MS. Support from friends, family, and the community will provide hope and stability as they navigate this difficult time.
