Support Erin and Her Premature Twins in the NICU
Donation protected
Having a new baby is a beautiful life altering experience.
Delivering twins that were born prematurely at 33 weeks is a uniquely challenging and awe inspiring endeavor.
On October 3rd, Erin delivered Easton Bertie and Daxton Lawrence at UVM Medical Center. All things considered, they are two perfect babies…though it will be a long road before they are healthy enough and ready to come home.
Erin has a unique challenge. She is attending to her new babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in order to nurture and support them to meet their critical developmental milestones while ALSO trying to maintain stability for her own children at home. Fortunately, Erin is a tenacious and loving mama.
Personally, sustaining 42 days in the NICU nurturing and advocating for my own premature twins was the best-hardest work of my life. That is why I started a Go Fund Me on behalf of Erin - a new twin-mom that is persevering through a life altering, physically and emotionally exhausting situation.
I am asking our community to help this sweet, hard-working mama and her family. Anyone that has had a NICU baby experience can appreciate the overwhelming urgency of Erin’s situation.
✨Let’s help Erin and her family thrive during this difficult period, rather than just brute-force survive it.
Your generous donations will provide support in the following ways:
-Gas money towards the multiple trips per day back and forth from UVM Medical Center to Waitsfield
-Food for mama on the go, as well as easy-to-prep meals for her family
-Medical expenses (my own NICU bill was just under a million dollars…a lot was covered by insurance..a lot wasn't…)
Thank you for your kind consideration and donations.
Please share Erin’s Go Fund Me with anyone that has the means to contribute to her journey.
With gratitude,
Maxine
