Dear Friends,

I am writing this with a heavy heart, as I recently lost my son, Eric, just days before Thanksgiving. No parent should ever have to endure the loss of a child, and I was not prepared for this unimaginable pain. At the moment, Eric is at the hospital, in the morgue, awaiting decisions that are hard to make. As I am living on a fixed income from Social Security, I am unable to afford the costs of laying him to rest. In addition, Eric was contributing to our household through rental income, which has now left me in an even more difficult position. I am reaching out with a humble request for any financial assistance that may help with his burial expenses, and to give me a few months to navigate this loss and the changes that come with it. I fully understand that it is holiday season, and I know everyone has their own struggles, but I would be forever grateful for any support during this incredibly challenging time. I do not have the means to plan a traditional funeral, but my greatest wish is to be able to bring Eric home. Any amount of help, no matter how small, will make a difference, and I appreciate more than words can express.
