<div>My name is Jonathan Counts, and I am Erica’s uncle. It’s with an incredibly heavy heart that I reach out to all of you today on behalf of my beloved niece, Erica Cramp, and her beautiful children, Alayna and Greyson. As many of you know, Erica and her late husband, David Cramp, were recently married just two months ago, and in an unimaginable twist of fate, we’ve lost David in a tragic accident.

<div>On April 3, 2025, David, just 31 years old, and his father, Christopher Cramp, lost their lives while trying to save David’s brother, Thomas, who was in crisis. They were struck by an Amtrak train while bravely trying to protect Thomas, a hero’s act that ended with their devastating loss in Bristol, PA.

<div>David was more than just a husband and father—he was a devoted and loving man. In the short time Erica and David shared together, their bond was pure and strong. David was not only a wonderful father to their young daughter, Alayna, but he also took on the role of a father to Erica’s son, Greyson. He was their protector, their rock, their superhero. And now, Erica is left to navigate this heartbreaking journey without him.

<div>This tragedy has left Erica and her children in a place of profound grief and uncertainty. As the world tries to move forward, Erica is left in shock, holding her two children and trying to explain a loss so deep they can’t possibly understand. They need our help—our support—to carry on and give them a future that David would have wanted for them.
