In honor of Mary Coleen Murphy, this fundraiser is for her sons, Emmett and Shane Murphy, who are facing an unimaginable loss. On August 24, 2026, their devoted and loving mother, Mary, was tragically killed while walking their family dog, Andre. Emmett and Shane are 23 and 21, and this loss has left them without any immediate family, as their father passed away when they were children. Mary was 59 years old and had been the sole provider for her boys, making this heartbreak even more overwhelming as they now face both deep grief and sudden financial hardship.

Mary worked at Safeway in Mill Valley, California for over 30 years, where she was a cherished employee and a bright light in the community. She was known for her sincere, genuine kindness and for brightening her customers' days with her smile and warm wishes. The funds raised will help Emmett and Shane cover funeral and burial costs, along with the essential living expenses they now have to manage on their own. Julie is asking for support for these two young men as they try to navigate this devastating time. Any generosity, no matter the amount, will help lighten their burden and will be deeply appreciated.
